Hello to all, hope you are having a good Friday and had a wonderful week. As we begin our study on the book of James I want to encourage you to memorize a Bible verse each week. This week's verse is:
James 1.2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (NIV)
Memorizing scripture is a great way to grow spiritually.
Have you done a RAK (Random Act of Kindness)? Let me know what happened, I would love to hear about it!
We had 4 people at our 101-StartingPoint class Sunday, all are interested in joining our church. Let's pray that God continues to move, and have faith that God is going to 'save' people often at WHCC.
This is a great article about how God can change lives. God has a purpose for every person!
Have you ever thought it would be easier if our church would stay the same and not grow? Read THIS and let me know what you think.
We will have our CLASS 201-GrowthPoint on July9, from 12-2.30pm. You can email Mirna to reserve your spot. Many people love God, but have never devised a plan to grow spiritually. Our CLASS 201, GrowthPoint introduces simple and healthy tools for personal spiritual growth. People who attend this class will learn how to grow daily in their faith and enjoy life with God.
And finally - because I found this after Father's Day and it made me laugh - a video for your enjoyment.

The dog days of summer are here! I love summer and opportunities to meet new people and spend time with family. Have you been able to do a RAC (Random Act of Kindness)? June is our RAC month in response to our Miracle of Mercy study. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your story!
All of us have good and bad day's on the job. I can remember watching a Zig Ziglar video once when he said if you don't love your job, people will find out quickly and you won't have that job to hate anymore. Here is an article to help your job, it probably would translate to a position of service or volunteer ministry as well.
Here is an interesting article about healthy communication, something we can all benefit from!
The Entreleadership Podcast is a weekly listen for me. This podcast with Zoro the Drummer was surprisingly one of the best I have ever heard.
And to keep you smiling and happy, check out this video.
One of the reasons I send out these emails is to encourage you to keep growing and developing. I love to help people grow and develop game plans so they can win. If you feel stuck or need to make a plan and get some traction in life...I would love to visit with you about 'coaching.' Everyone needs a coach from time to time and with the training I have it is one way I can serve you and our church.
