A Culture of Invitation - one of the most important things we are trying to build at WHCC is a culture of invitation. This is where we are constantly looking out for people who we can invite to church or to one of our events (so they can connect with God). The Connection Group material this session has been great and shown me things about evangelism I have never seen before. The last session gave the practical advice to always look for the 'good' and the 'need' in the people around us. When we see someone do good in their job, relationships, effort - reward them with encouragement. When we see someone hurting, frustrated, in pain - offer care and concern. See the good and the need is a great evangelism strategy. As you go about your day, look at the things we have planned at church, maybe there is a need an event can meet or a gift/skill someone has that they could use serving at our church. Invite them in!
